Sennheiser Mikroport 2013 PLL FM System
The Mikroport™ 2013-PLL system, consisting
of the EK 2013-PLL receiver for the hard of hearing
persons and the SK 2013-PLL transmitter for speakers,
represents a major advance in enabling people with
a hearing loss to play a more fully integrated role
in education, the work place, and social settings.
The system is discrete and allows complete freedom
of movement; the person speaking wears the transmitter,
or for small group discussions it can be placed in
the centre of a table. The person or persons with
a hearing loss wear the receiver, which works in
conjunction with the hearing aid by using a neck
loop or direct audio input cable; it can also be
used with headphones.
The rechargeable system offers up to 14 hours operation
and a reusable battery case for back up (supplied)
allows up to 45 hours operation on one set of batteries
(non rechargeable).
Any number of receivers can be used with a transmitter.
