This system is useful for an emergency enabling automatic contact to friends or relatives if assistance is required. When the transmitter button is pressed, a signal is transmitted to the auto dialler with a range of up to 100 metres (open air). The auto dialler is capable of storing up to six emergency telephone numbers (including mobile phones). It will begin to dial the first number, if this number is unobtainable; the next will be dialled and so on until a response is received.

The transmitter can be attached to clothing using a safety pin, or worn with a cord.
