The PowerTel 50 is a simple to use stand alone telephone emergency dialler. By stand alone, it is meant that it
does not need subscriptions to telephone call centres. A land line is all that is required. As such there are no
ongoing charges for using this product other that the cost of dialled calls on the users phone bill.
Ideal for families wishing to maintain an emergency contact with an elderly or at risk relative.
The PowerTel 50 is supplied with a waterproof pendent for use anywhere within the 50 Metre range of the transmitter
including the shower and bathroom.
The phone is equipped with hearing aid compatible handset, volume boost of up to + 40dB and visual incoming call
indication.
For the visually impaired keypad presses are spoken, so are incoming caller ID numbers.
If used in a bedroom, an optional vibrating pad can be purchased to plug into the phone. The alarm clock function
then switches on the vibrator pillow pad at alarm time to wake the user.
